DEXTER - Vincent A. Steimel, 91, died June 13, 2004, at the Mulberry Manor in Dexter.
Born Nov. 29, 1912, at Greeley, Neb., son of the late John A. and Mary Liekhous Steimel, he attended the First Baptist Church in Dexter. He had been a chemical engineer for Dow Chemical in Midland, Mich.
On Oct. 2, 1982, at Mesa, Ariz., he married Gladys Davis who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three daughters, A. Joann Siegla of Cleveland, Ohio, Sharon A. Winsauer of Bath, Mich., and Janet D. Walsh of Richboro, Pa.; five stepdaughters, Glenda DeFrain of Houston, Texas, Julia Minton of Dexter, Jean Davidson of San Jose, Calif., and Glee Cumbrow and Carol Smock of Danville, Ill.; and six grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and nine stepgreat-grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be conducted Wednesday with burial in the Dexter Cemetery.
