DEXTER - Thelma Biggs, 90, died May 18, 2005, at the Missouri Southern Healthcare Facility in Dexter.

Born Nov. 27, 1914, in Remmington, Ind., to the late Michael and Martha Pixley Feeler, she had lived in Memphis and Salem, Ind., all of her life, moving to Dexter five months ago. She was a member of the Memphis General Baptist Church in Memphis, Ind.

On March 20, 1937, she married Raymond Biggs, who preceded her in death in December 1988.

Surviving are: four sons, Kenneth Biggs of Dexter, Morris Biggs of New Albany, Ind., Michael Biggs of Austin, Ind., and Keith Biggs of Columbus, Ind.; two daughters, Janice Coats of Scottsburg, Ind., and Marilyn Coats of Salem, Ind.; and 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie and Cecil Feeler.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the Stewart Funeral Home in Scottsburg, where services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Revs. Kenneth Biggs, Mike Biggs and Rob Sheet will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter was in charge of local arrangements.
