SIKESTON - Thelma L. "Trip" Moss, 83, died at 9:10 p.m. June 15, 2004, at Riverways Manor in Van Buren.

Born April 19, 1921, in Grayridge, daughter of the late John and Lelia Tucker Triplett, she was a licensed practical nurse at Missouri Delta Community Hospital before retiring and was of the Methodist belief.

On Nov. 3, 1945, she married Cecil W. Moss who preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 1974.

Survivors include: one daughter, Beryl Reed of Van Buren; one brother, Charles L. Triplett of Dexter; two sisters, Lillis Heacox and Naomi Negron of Sikeston; two grandchildren, Clayton Reed of Jonesboro, Ark., and Heather Aldridge of Van Buren; and six great-grandchildren.

One brother, Norman Triplett, also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Monday until service time at 2 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Rick Ramsey, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
