MATTHEWS -- Beatrice "Bea" Depro, 85, died at 11:45 p.m. May 11, 2005, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews.

Born Jan. 26, 1920, in Matthews, daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth Hill Critchlow, she was a school teacher and taught third grade in Matthews. A charter member of the First Christian Church in Matthews, she was also a member of the Christian Women's Fellowship.

On June 28, 1938, in Matthews, she married Bill Depro who preceded her in death on March 23, 1989.

One brother and one grandson also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Paula Depro of Matthews; one daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Harvey Kelso of Matthews; one sister, Mary Kasten of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Friday until time for services at 1 p.m. at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ed Wells, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Matthews Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Andy Akins, Drew Akins, Joey Williams, Wayne Parker, Steve Parker and Chad Parker.
