Sikeston Standard Democrat: Obituaries: Freda Menley (05/12/05)

CHAFFEE - Freda Marie Menley, 77, died at 2:45 a.m. May 11, 2005, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born Sept. 4, 1927, in Bloomfield to the late Charles Albert Patton and Valley Odessa Lincoln, she was a homemaker.

On Nov. 26, 1945, she married Joe Menley, who survives of Chaffee.

Also surviving are: two daughters, Jonell Schaefer of Sikeston and Brenda Thiele of Chaffee; one brother, Troy Patton of Glen Allen; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Watis Harrell will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.

Pallbearers will be Danny Thiele, David Schaefer, Tom Menley and Farrel Menley.
