CAPE GIRARDEAU -- James N. Wiley Jr., 72, died May 11, 2005, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 15, 1932, in Cape Girardeau, to the late James and Eugie Kinder Wiley Sr., he was employed by Missouri Utilities as a supervisor. He was a musician for many years with the Jim Wiley and the Rebels Band and The Country Gentlemen Band that played monthly at The Lutheran Home and the Veterans Home. He was also a member and musician at Bethany Baptist Church for several years.
On Sept. 22, 1995, at Las Vegas, Nev., he married Donna Lee Spears of Cape Girardeau.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Beth Zaha of Lone Grove, Okla., and Lee Johnson of Paragould, Ark.; one stepdaughter, Rebecca Rick of West Frankfurt, Ill.; one stepson, Brad Spears of Bell City; one sister, Lois Smith of Cape Girardeau; and five grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Shawn Wasson and the Rev. Cy Smith will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hobbs Chapel Cemetery at Cape Girardeau.
