NEW MADRID -- Jimmie Lee Reese, 59, died April 24, 2004, at his home in New Madrid.
Born Aug. 17, 1944, in Matthews, son of Nancy Kennedy Reese of New Madrid and the late Johnnie Reese, he retired as a warehouse supervisor with Noranda Aluminum Inc. He was a member of New Madrid Eagles Aerie 4206.
On June 6, 1964, at New Madrid, he married Ginger Beaher who survives of the home.
Other survivors: one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Edward Porter of New Madrid; one son, Jimmie John "J.J." Reese of New Madrid; two grandchildren, Reese Edward Porter and Audrey Lane Porter; and his mother-in-law, Helen Beaher of New Madrid.
Two brothers, Sammie Reese and Johnnie Reese, preceded him in death.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where a rosary is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop, pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
