DEXTER - Letha P. O'Dell, 95, died May 21, 2004, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.
Born Nov. 18, 1908, near Dexter, daughter of the late Almond and Nancy Robinson Martin, she was a member of the Sweet Prospect General Baptist Church in Dexter. She was employed by Elders Manufacturing for 27 years.
On July 3, 1926, in Dexter, she married James M. O'Dell who preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1996.
Survivors include: two sons, Charles O'Dell and James F. O'Dell of Dexter; five daughters, Elizabeth Riggs of Scott City, Kathreen Robinson of Dexter, Freda Warren of Clarkton, Norma June Fortner of Bloomfield and Delsie Lee Hesselbein of St. Peters; two brothers, Melvin Martin and Elvin Martin of the state of Washington; two sisters, Elois Davis of Dexter and Louise Brady of Bloomfield; and 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Mike Redman of Marshall will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
