Contested at the 6,536-yard, par-72 Silo Ridge Golf and Country Club in Bolivar, the Bearcats posted a team score of 683 for the two-day event.
The low four scores were carded by senior Tyler Holden (78-80 -- 158), sophomore Aaron Jackson (88-80 -- 168), sophomore Dax Demaree (88-88 -- 176) and sophomore Andrew Stuever (95-88 -- 183). A fifth team member, junior Megan Agey, shot two rounds of 93 for a 186 total.
Individual rankings were: Holden, tie for 26th; Jackson, tie for 72nd; Demaree, tie for 103rd; Stuever, 114th; and Agey, 118th.
E. C. Atchison, a Sikeston junior, led area individual qualifiers with rounds of 79-76 for a 36-hole total of 155 for a 12th-place tie.
Sikeston senior Matthew Bain finished in a tie for 65th with rounds of 91-76 -- 167. Martin Schaefer, also a Sikeston junior, finished in a tie for 78th place with rounds of 86-83 -- 169, good for 78th place.
Mary's Institute Country Day School of St. Louis won the team title with a 615 score, while Garrett Smith and Andrew Shelby, both of Clinton, finished 1-2 in the individual scoring at 146 and 148, respectively.
