NEW MADRID - Gabriel Michael and Ashley Elizabeth Long are the parents of their second son, born at 1:50 p.m. March 14, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Gavin Michael Long weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long.

The former Ashley Nesselrodt, Mrs. Long is the daughter of Robert and Diedra Nesselrodt and Heidi and Larry Williams of New Madrid. She is a teacher at New Madrid County R-I Schools. Long, son of Troy and Kaki Long of Portageville, is a manager at Ag Distributors of Portageville.

Harris

CHARLESTON - Markeka Jackson and Thomas Harris are the parents of their first daughter, born at 4:50 a.m. March 14, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Thomiya Nicole Harris weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 18-3/4-inches long.

Ms. Jackson is the daughter of Phyllis Lee and Dwayne Jackson. She is a cashier.

Harris, son of Christine Harris and Frank Davis, is a cook.

Mitchell
