Patricia Carter

TRUMANN, Ark. - Patricia Marie Carter, 71, died Jan. 11, 2005, at Northeast Arkansas Hospital at Jonesboro, Ark.

Born March 18, 1933, in Anna, Ill., to the late James and Anna Lane Roe, she was a homemaker and a resident of Trumann.

On Aug. 29, 1953, at Alton, Ill., she married Virgil Lee Carter, who preceded her in death on Aug. 14, 1992.

Survivors include: five sons, Alan David Ritchey of Wood River, Ill., Albert Lee Ritchey, Ron Carter and Steve Carter of Trumann and Don Carter of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Debbie Tackett and Dianne Cox of Trumann; one sister, Dorothy Couch of Trumann; and 31 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
