DEXTER -- Luther Anderson Lee, 81, died July 25, 2005, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born April 8, 1924, in Tennessee, he was a retired mechanic and member of the Baptist Church in Dudley. He had lived in Dexter since 1996.
On June 24, 1988, at Milan, Tenn., he married Frances J. Sylvester who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: seven sons, Charles Fuller of Murray, Ky., James Lee and Terry Lee of Tresvent, Tenn., Kenneth Lee of Alamo, Tenn., Johnny Lee of Huntington, Tenn., Danny Lee of Odessa and Roger Lee of San Diego, Calif; one daughter, April Lovell of Dexter; two brothers, Robert Lee of Brighton, Tenn., and Wallace Lee of Mississippi; one sister, Eva Daniel of Dyersburg, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Thursday until time for services at 1 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Mike Watkins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
