William Bond

HOPWOOD, Pa. -- William Eric Bond, 57, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died May 19, 2004, at his home in Hopwood.

Born Aug. 20, 1946, in Sikeston, Mo., son of Cora Lee Schneider McMinn of Charleston, he had lived in Pennsylvania for many years and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

In addition to his mother, survivors include: one son, Jarrett Bond of Hopwood; two daughters, Beth Ann Bond of Allentown and Erica Lee Bond of Union Town; one brother, John McMinn of Charleston; two sisters, Georgia Gremillion and Janet DeField of Charleston; and his stepfather, J.E. McMinn of Charleston.

Private services were conducted Saturday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Jim Malugen, pastor of the First Christian Church of Charleston, officiated.

Burial followed in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
