Ray Kettles Sr.

Born June 27, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late Leo and Virginia Horn Kettles, he was a self-employed mechanic and a lifelong drag racer at the Sikeston Drag Strip. He was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: one son, Allen Kettles of Sikeston; one stepdaughter, Elizabeth Eaves of St. Louis; and two grandchildren, Staci Kettles of Benton and Jorden Kettles of Sikeston.

One son preceded him in death.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
