MOREHOUSE - Sibyl Wilson, 89, died July 30, 2005, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born Sept. 6, 1915, in Monett, Ark., daughter of the late Tom S. and Annie Barnes Woodson, she had been a resident of Ft. Hood, Texas; Flint, Mich.; and Florida before moving to Morehouse in 1969. She was a homemaker and affiliated with the Oneness Pentecost church.
On Jan. 7, 1932, in Parma, she married Joe Seaphus Wilson who preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1974.
She was also preceded in death by three sons, Kenneth Wilson, Jimmy Wilson and Donald Wilson.
Survivors include: three sons, Bobby P. Wilson of Morehouse, Lanny "Joe" Wilson of Sikeston and Darrel Wilson of LeRoy, Ill; two brothers, Avery Woodson of Morehouse and Richard Woodson of Christmas, Fla.; one sister, Wanda Copeland of the state of Alabama; and 17 grandchildren, 27 great-
grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse where funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. E.J. McDougal of Sikeston will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
