Born Oct. 27, 1916, in Sikeston, daughter of the late William Strother and Minnie Sayers Smith, she was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Brandon.
Her husband, Tolbert Christopher "T.C." Pinkley, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three nieces, Mary Sayers Berthe of Brandon, Dee Dee McGhee of San Antonio and Susie Pinkley of Fayetteville, Ga.; four nephews, Charles J. Berthe Jr. of Williamson, Ga., Dr. Lennie F. Pinkley Jr. of Amory, Tony Casey of Herculaneum, Mo., and Bishop Morgan Casey of LaPaz, Bolivia; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside memorial service was conducted Friday at the Portageville (Mo.) Cemetery with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating.
DeLisle Funeral Home of Portageville was in charge of arrangements.
