SIKESTON - Sammy L. Robbins, 56, died July 31, 2005, at the Miner Nursing Facility in Miner.
He was born Oct. 11, 1948, in Sikeston, son of the late James William and Juanita Hampton Robbins.
On Oct. 11, 1974, in Sikeston, he married Ruth Wells Robbins who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Gary Robbins of Sikeston and Terry Robbins of Tipton; one brother, Charles Robbins of Thebes, Ill.; six sisters, Betty Prince of Marston, Mary Slayton of Portageville, Linda Wiseman of Chaffee, Loretta McClain of Bloomfield, Rita Pittman of Sikeston and Carol Griffin of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren, Kaitlynn Robbins, Abbie Robbins and Austin Robbins, all of Sikeston.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Frank Townsend will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
