Earl Obermann

CHAFFEE - Earl Leon Obermann Jr., 52, died at 5:10 p.m. June 16, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 19, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late Earl Leon and Virginia Marie Estes Obermann Sr., he was a forklift operator for the Dana Corporation in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Chaffee Elks Lodge 1810 and Advance Eagles Aerie 4154.

On Oct. 28, 1981, he married Linda Foehr who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Andy Obermann and Robert Obermann of Chaffee; two brothers, Terry Obermann and Larry Obermann of Dutchtown; three sisters, Brenda Carnell of Delta, Susan Reed of Dutchtown and Donna Davault of Advance; his maternal grandmother, Marie Hinkle of Marble Hill; and two grandchildren.

Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Tom Morris will officiate.

Burial will follow in St. Ambrose Cemetery at Chaffee.

Pallbearers will be: Terry Obermann, Larry Obermann, Robert Obermann and Andy Obermann.
