SIKESTON - Allen Louis Howard, 53, died June 15, 2004, at his home.

Born Jan. 1, 1951 in Memphis, Tenn., son of Florence Howard of Sikeston and the late George Howard, he was a member of Greer's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

His wife, Carolyn Faye Howard, survives of Jonesboro, Ark.

Survivors in addition to his mother and wife include: one daughter, Clara Howard of Jonesboro; three sons, Joseph Fletcher of Fort Wayne, Ind., Sylvester Howard of Jonesboro and Allen Howard Jr. of Sikeston; three brothers, James Howard of Chicago and Sidney Howard and David Howard of Sikeston; four sisters, Joyce Ann Lewis, Evon Beasley and Bessie Neal of Sikeston and Estella Fox of Haywood City; and 10 grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. Saturday until service time at 3 p.m. at Greer's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Clay Willis officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
