ORAN -- Minnie Alice Gadberry, 85, died at 2 a.m. June 6, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born March 8, 1919, in Lamar, Ark., daughter of the late James and Harriet Hull Terry, she was a member of the Greater Vision Pentecostal Church in Chaffee.
On April 5, 1941, she married William David Gadberry who preceded her in death on April 14, 1972.
One brother, two sisters and one great-stepgrandson also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Larry Gadberry of Rolla and Terry Gadberry of Chaffee; two daughters, Linda Simpson of Jackson and Judy Magee of Sikeston; one sister, Hollie Crotts of Morley; and nine grandchildren, nine stepgrandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, eight great-stepgrandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation is after 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Robert Poe officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
Pallbearers will be: Eugene Magee, Leo Simpson, Mike Frederick, Thomas Frederick, Andy Gadberry and Steve Shoemaker.
