EAST PRAIRIE -- Nancy Louise Dick, 83, died at 10:25 a.m. Feb. 9, 2008, in the Charleston Manor.
Born April 6, 1924, in Hickman, Ky., to the late Robert R. and Clara Clack Wainscott, she lived most of her life in Mississippi County where she was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Prairie.
On Dec. 20, 1941, she married Shelby James Dick who preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 2007.
Also preceding her in death were two sons-in-law, Jay Burton and Meredith Wilson, and two brothers, Roy Wainscott and Richard Wainscott.
Survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Shelby Jean Wilson of Houston and Joyce and Jim Abner of Charleston; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sharon Dick of Woodlands, Texas; one sister, Margaret Martin of East Prairie; one sister-in-law, Lou Wainscott of Hickman, Ky.; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for 6 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Ted Wimberley and George White officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Gene Hall, Ronnie Hall, Ivan Jones, Stuart Bain, Kenny Kindle Jr. and Randy Mitchell.
Honorary pallbearers will be McIvan Jones, Richard Sutton, Lewis Jones, W.C. "Buddy" Dunn, Kenny Kindle and Bob Munson.
