LILBOURN - Margaret Ernestene Marion, 63, died at 7 p.m. Feb. 18, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare in Poplar Bluff.
Born Aug. 27, 1938, in Morehouse, daughter of the late Zelmer C. and Callie Williams Butler, she was a member of the Christian Family Church in Sikeston. She was bookkeeper for the Adams Farm Center in Portageville for 32 years before retiring.
On March 29, 1980, in Malden, she married Bill Marion who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three stepsons, Russell Marion of Evansville, Ind., Kelly Marion of Portageville and Jeff Marion of Lilbourn; two daughters, Pam Webster Barnes of Lilbourn and Lucinda Davis of Malden; six stepdaughters, Joyce Nowell and Gena Angel of Portageville, Sherrie Mathis of Zalma, Sharon Beasley of Evansville, Tina Lawrence of Gideon and Barbara Ward of Holcomb; three brothers, the Rev. Billie Butler of Sikeston, R.D. Butler of Malvern, Ark., and the Rev. Gaylon Butler of Sikeston; two sisters, Betty Annabelle Ditto of Port Byron, Ill., and Wenzola McTernan of Caruthersville; and 28 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Officiating will be the Rev. Gaylon Butler of the Christian Family Church; the Rev. Billie Butler of the United Pentecostal Church; and the Rev. Scott Foster, associate pastor of the Agape Worship Center in Portageville.
Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
