Born June 9, 1930, in New Madrid, daughter of the late Thomas F. and Mary Catherine Gallivan Hunter, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Madrid. She was a teacher in Patton and for the New Madrid County R-1 School District before retiring.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and Debbie Kaiser of Sanford, Fla., Jim and Lisa Kaiser of Graveland, Fla., and Jerry and Kim Kaiser of Geneva, Fla.; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Pat Temperly of Geneva; one sister, Joanne Hunter of New Madrid; four brothers, Jim Digges Hunter of Rolla and John Alfred Hunter, Gallivan Hunter and Henry Hunter of New Madrid; and 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Monsignor Mike Swalina officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
