SIKESTON - Out of more than 1,500 Avon district sales managers nationwide, only 179 were awarded with Avon's Circle of Excellence award and Sikeston resident Carolyn Cox was among this group.
The award recognizes the top 10 percent of district sales managers in Avon with the largest sales increase over the previous year. As a Circle of Excellence winner, Cox will receive an all-expense paid trip to the Hawaiian Island of Maui in May.
She is responsible for managing a district comprised of hundreds of Avon sales representatives which generates more than a million dollars in sales annually.
"Carolyn has worked extremely hard to earn this prestigious honor," said Jim Landry, division sales manager for the area including Cox's district. "Time and time again she has demonstrated the dedication and leadership necessary to motivate her sales force to outstanding achievement. All of her efforts on behalf of Avon and the representatives she manages merit this celebrated recognition."
Cox attributes her success to goal setting, her desire to always move forward and her desire to help her team of representatives succeed.
Cox's Avon career has been marked with numerous achievements including earning the Circle of Excellence distinction three other times.
