Sada Upchurch

Born Feb. 21, 1915, at Dudley, daughter of the late Oscar and Sada Nanney Upchurch, she lived near Lutesville most her life, moving to Ironton in 1981. In 1988, she moved to The Baptist Home in Ironton. She was a member of the Glen Allen Baptist Church.

Survivors include: one brother, Winfred Upchurch of Glen Allen; two sisters and brother-in-law, Jacuelyn "Jackie" and the Rev. Keith Huffman of Ironton and Beth Woods of Marquand; and several nieces and nephews.

One brother, Oscar Upchurch Jr., also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Lee Roy Quinn and the Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery near Marble Hill.
