PUXICO - Vida Scott, 55, formerly of Dexter, died Sept. 26, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff.

Born April 28, 1947, in Pontiac, Mich., daughter of John Hagy Sr. of Dexter and the late Beatrice Scott Hagy, she had lived in Illinois for many years. She was a member of the Link Full Gospel Church near Bloomfield.

On May 12, 1964, at Noble, Ill., she married Donald Scott who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and father include: three sons, Donald Scott of Dowagiac, Mich., and Joe Scott and John Scott of Dexter; two daughters, Sara Watkins of Dudley and Irene Bolin of Puxico; eight sisters, Nellie Runyon of Olney, Ill., Juanita Willoughby and Sandra Bayless of Quapaw, Okla., Carolyn Fielder of Benton and Doris Price, Cora Magaria, Claudia Scott and Wanda Drews of Dexter; three brothers, John Hagy Jr. of Dexter, Earl Hagy of Bel-Ridge and James Hagy of Titusville, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest Hagy, Vincent Hagy and Estel Hagy; and one grandson, Daniel Watkins.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday with Ilene Moore of Dexter, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
