PARMA -- J.M. Patton, 75, died April 17, 2005, at St. Louis University Hospital.
Born May 11, 1929, in Puxico, son of the late Joseph and Virgie Green Patton, he had lived in Southeast Missouri all of his life and had lived in Parma since 1947. A retired school bus driver and mechanic, he was of the Baptist belief and a member of the Masonic Lodge AF & AM.
On Nov. 5, 1977, in East Prairie, he married Doris Jean Knight who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two stepsons, Rodney Ledbetter of Dallas, Texas, and Rick Ledbetter of Piggott, Ark.; four stepdaughters, Pam Norman of Dudley, Debbie Smith of Gideon, Linda Caldwell of Dexter, Carolyn Duck of Campbell; four brothers, Vernon Patton of Mary Esther, Fla., Patrick Patton of McMinnville, Tenn., Raymon Patton of Wappapello; Jerry Patton of Mulvane, Kan.; three sisters, Lois Hughes of Fredericktown; Louise Dubbs of Booneville and Lillian Bolin of Naylor; and nine stepgrandchildren and six great-
One stepson, James Wayne Adams, preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday with Joe R. Williams of Malden officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cemetery at Malden.
