Painting the town

A member of Brownie Troop 3 concentrates as she paints the window of Buttons and Bows Saturday morning in Sikeston. The Brownies, along with several other youth groups, were participating in the Ninth Annual Window Painting Contest, which is sponsored by the Sikeston Elks Lodge /Elks Auxiliary and the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce. This year's theme is Drug Awareness and Red Ribbon Week.
