Train cars overturn

LILBOURN - Officials from Union Pacific Railroad were working this morning to clear tracks after a train cars overturned.

According to the New Madrid County Sheriff's Department, the train, which was taking coal to Associated Electric Co. Inc., overturned at 1:05 a.m. today on tracks between Lilbourn and Catron. Nine cars reportedly derailed.

The cause of the accident is unknown at this time.
