SCOTT CITY - Phillip John Harris, 80, died at 8:51 p.m. Feb. 25, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born May 6, 1921, in Chaffee, son of the late George Louis and Goldie Edna Mundon Harris, he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chaffee. He retired as a brakeman for Frisco Railroad in Chaffee and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: three sons, John Harris of Dayton, Texas, Michael Harris of Perryville and Phillip Harris of Scott City; two daughters, Phyllis Farmer of Spring, Texas, and Amber Harris of Scott City; one brother, Cecil Harris of Peoria, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Park Cemetery.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
