SPRINGFIELD - David Masters, 52, died March 3, 2005, in Springfield.
Born May 23, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, he was the son of Mary Louise Davis of Cape Girardeau and the late Elmo Masters. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, he received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and practiced law for more than 20 years.
On May 28, 1977, he married Ginger Lloyd who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: four sons, Phillip Jacob Masters, Samuel Edward Masters and Trevor Masters of Columbia and Spencer David Masters of Aurora, Colo.; three daughters, Cecily Jane Fliege and Rachel Elizabeth Masters of Jackson and Katherine Rose Masters of Columbia; and two grandchildren, Willow Dae Masters of Columbia and Layla Jane Fliege of Jackson.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
