SIKESTON -- Four people are in custody from two related methamphetamine incidents last week.
Last Wednesday, Sikeston Department of Public Safety officers served a search warrant at 113 Bradley. During the search, officers netted a quantity of methamphetamine, along with some meth-making materials and paraphernalia.
Three people were arrested in the incident: Brenna York, 24 of Sikeston; Ronnie Brawner, 33, of East Prairie; and Mike Coleman, 29, of Morley. All were charged with possession of methamphetamine by Scott County Prosecutor Cristy Baker-Neel.
The second incident stemmed from a search of a room at the Days Inn in Sikeston Sunday night. Acting on information, drug detectives from Sikeston and the SEMO Drug Task Force found Sandra Higgins inside the room where a quantity of methamphetamine was located.
Higgins, 34, of East Prairie, was also wanted on a Mississippi County warrant so she was taken into custody and currently is being held at Sikeston DPS pending transfer to the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department. Charges are currently pending through New Madrid County on Higgins for the drug charges. Other arrests are pending in the investigation.
