SIKESTON -- Nellie Anna Lambert, 89, formerly of Blodgett, died at 7:15 a.m. Jan. 30, 2005, at Clearview Nursing Center.
Born Jan. 1, 1916, in Blodgett, daughter of the late John and Nettie Cauthorn Boston, she was a cook for Kelly High School and worked in food service with the University of Missouri Extension program for 10 years. A member of Vanduser church of Christ, she was also a housewife.
On Feb. 5, 1932, in New Madrid, she married Jesse Morgan Lambert who preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1994.
One daughter, Brenda Henneman; four brothers and five sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Jesse Mac "Buddy" Lambert of Columbia, Ill., Norman Ray Lambert of Sikeston and Steve Lambert of Jefferson City; two daughters, Nancy Childers of Fruitland and Pam Scherer of Jefferson City; and 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Dan Richardson, minister of Vanduser Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Kevin Lambert, Jeff Lambert, Andy Childers, Scott Lambert, Eric Lambert, Chris Lambert, Cory Lambert, Joey Henneman and Dana Carter.
