BLODGETT - Ethel Louise Franks, 79, died Dec. 7, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born May 25, 1925, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of the late Walter David and Lela Victoria Riggs Deason Sr., she was a member of the Church of Christ in Blodgett.

On Jan. 25, 1948, she married James Edward Franks who preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 1983.

Survivors include: two brothers, Walter David "Dub" Deason Jr. of Blodgett and Claude Deason of Sikeston; and one sister, Doris Ingram of Manila, Ark.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Charlie Deason, Gordon Deason and Clyde Deason; and one sister, Dorothy Deason.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday. Her nephew, Church of Christ minister Bob Deason, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Blodgett Cemetery.
