CHAFFEE -- George Edward Craigmiles, 63, died April 26, 2007, at a family home.
Born Aug. 12, 1943, at St. Louis, the son of George and Dorothy E. Arnold Craigmiles, he was a retired forklift operator for Ludlow Corporation in Cape Girardeau and a member of Chaffee Elk Lodge No. 1810 and the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee.
On Oct. 24, 1964, he married Laura Lee Enderle who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, George A. Craigmiles of Chaffee; one daughter, Theresa L. Crites of Chaffee; two brothers, Terry Craigmiles and David Craigmiles of Cordova, Ill.; five sisters, Janet Temple of Nevada, Donna Bucher of New Hamburg, Gwen Morgan of South Haven, Mich., Paula Craigmiles of Normal, Ill., and Julie Craigmiles of Cordova, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.
One sister preceded him in death in addition to his parents.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today with parish prayers scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery in Chaffee.
