SIKESTON - The Scott County Chapter of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis has awarded a scholarship to Dr. E.J. Neinstedt of Sikeston for the study of the Kenny Treatment for Infantile Paralysis at the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis.


SIKESTON - Cpl. Fred Mainard has been transferred from Camp Tyson, Tenn., to Camp Maxey, Texas.

CHAFFEE - Glenda Blue of Chaffee won a new 1994 GMC Sonoma from SEMO Motor Company when her name was drawn by KZ-106 representatives recently at the Riverfest in Cape Girardeau. Through advertisements sold by KZ-106 CD Country, this new truck was bought to be given away.
