Your view: We are Americans

Wednesday, November 17, 2004

The election is over and President Bush returns for another term. The votes are counted and America has spoken. However now in a time of disunity and hard feelings, more important than being a Republican or Democrat, Independent or Green Party is being an American. To quote President Bush in a recent address to the nation, "When we come together and work together, there is no limit to the greatness of America."

My challenge to all people is to place your differences aside and work together for the better of tomorrow. What is important in the face of a new America no longer remains who you are, but what you do. So stand up, fight for your beliefs and help your fellow humanity to make this world a better place for future generations to live.

The change for a unified America starts at home.
