DENTON, Ky. - Myrtle Jenkins, 80, formerly of Dexter, Mo., died Oct. 10, 2001, at the Oak View Nursing Home.

Born Nov. 22, 1920, at Freeport, Ill., daughter of the late Louis E. and Lillian Crowe Miller, she was a member of the First Christian Church and a former bookkeeper for the Midwest Waste Company in Dexter.

On Jan. 16, 1945, in Piggott, Ark., she married Lon Jenkins Jr. who preceded her in death on March 15, 1983.

Survivors include: one sister, Rose Masters of Livonia, Mich.; three nieces, one nephew and several great-nieces and nephews.

One sister, Norma Hobbs, also preceded her in death.

Services were conducted at noon today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Clifford Wray officiating.

Burial followed in the Bernie Cemetery at Bernie, Mo.
