WYATT - Ethel Daniel Small, 91, died at 12:20 p.m. Oct. 10, 2001.
Born May 9, 1910, in Diehlstadt, daughter of the late John H. and Dora Burns Daniel Sr., she lived in Wyatt most of her life. She was co-owner of the Small Lumber Co. from 1945 until retiring in 1992. A member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston, she participated in the Mississippi County RSVP program for many years.
On July 30, 1927, she married J.B. Small Sr. who preceded her in death in December 1962.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, J.B. "Bud" and Harriett Small Jr. of Wyatt; one cousin, Frances Daniel of Charleston; and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Evelyn Nell Cange; and one brother, J.H. Daniel
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston where a prayer service is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gerald Brown, pastor of St. Henry's Catholic Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be: J.B. "Jamie" Small III, Jeffrey Small, Craig Cange, J.B. Small IV, Garrison Eastman and Ginnie B. Eastman.
