If everyone would mind their own business about their own kids, this world would be a better place for everybody. Everybody needs to mind their own business in this day and time.

This message is to African-American voters. During the last several weeks, including today, John Kerry has visited your churches, trying to get your votes. He claims the Republican Party has been disenfranchising and discouraging blacks from voting. But remember. That lie came from the same man who said the President was going to reinstate the draft. It comes from the same man who has taken several different positions on Iraq. More importantly, John Kerry voted against the ban on partial birth abortion, which passed Congress and Bush signed into law. He voted against the Defense of Marriage bill, which even President Clinton signed into law. Kerry is for keeping abortion legal. You African-American preachers are pro-life, pro-marriage, anti-abortion and anti-homosexuality. Why are you and your people going to support and vote for John Kerry, when he does not support your traditional moral values? Why? Please pray about your decision. Please pray pro-life. Please vote pro-life Nov. 2.

I wish someone would explain why people keep saying Republicans are for the rich and that tax cuts are for the rich. I know for a fact that people around here who make $15,000 a year or less are getting back $4,000 to $5,000 a year on income taxes when they have not paid that much in. Also, if they had two kids they got $800 and if they had three kids, they got $1,200. You people cannot stand it because we Republicans believe in working. If you're in a minimum wage job you can qualify for help to get an education to get a better job. Go do it and quit whining. That's what I did. I started out at minimum wage. I kept taking steps to better myself until I now have a good, steady job. That's what Democrats do. They blame us because they don't want to work to better themselves. They want to live off the government and then always whine about it.

I would like to make a petition to sent Michael Moore (the man who made the famous movie) to Iraq. He's way too fat. Maybe if he ran from those Iraqis he would sweat some of that lard off. He also needs a bath, a haircut and a shave. He's dirty, unshaven, his hair is too long and he has a weird, warped mind. I'm sure he'd run because he's too big a coward to fight.

I am responding to the person who said I was pounding Mike Jensen's comments about being rude. This person said she is a mother of three and doesn't have a problem with her children starving. Apparently she's getting more alimony or child support. My husband and I both have jobs to keep our heads above water. Yes, Bush did take us to raise. It was his job when he became president to see that we have good paying jobs to get so we can keep our heads above water and keep our children fed. So if she is going to vote for Bush, then there's something wrong with her.

I am calling about the SpeakOut article, "Don't blame Mr. Bush." Whoever the lady is who is raising three kids by herself apparently doesn't live in Sikeston. She thinks the economy is good, apparently she doesn't get out much because she hasn't seen all the businesses in Sikeston that have closed up. I'm sure whenever she has sons and Bush opens up the draft and they have to go, she needs to go vote for him again. She should ask the parents who have children in Iraq how they feel about him. She must not watch the move very closely or get out into the world and see what is really going on. I'm glad she is doing well. Maybe she has a sugar daddy to help her out. But unlike the rest of us, we have to work hard. We work two and three jobs and our kids work two or three jobs just to get by. Four years ago we could have gotten by on just one job to make it. Apparently she doesn't get out and work or go much.

There seems to be a problem on Grand Street in East Prairie with teen-agers running that street wide open. They drive at high rates of speed and there are so many small children who live on that street, playing and riding bikes. It is very dangerous. I have a suggestion for our alderman. Put a 4-way or 2-way stop at the intersection of Grand and Cypress streets. If these kids had to stop at Cypress Street, perhaps they wouldn't drive at such high rates of speed. The local police department has been very cooperative and have run the street when we called in and slowed them down. This is a suggestion that I believe could help.
