DEXTER - Rose Grady, 66, died Oct. 18, 2001, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born Feb. 2, 1935, in Arbyrd, daughter of the late J.B. and Vandora Haddock Grady, she was a member of the Bernie Church of Christ. She graduated with bachelor of science and masters degrees from Harding University in Searcy, Ark., and had been a mathematics teacher for several school districts in Southeast Missouri before retiring. She was also a member of the Stoddard County Retired Teachers Association, served on the State Retired Teachers Association Membership Committee and was a member of the Breast Cancer Support Group.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Melvin Grady, Paul Grady, M.H. "Hamp" Grady and Walter P. Grady.
Survivors include: one sister, Jewel Grady of Dexter; four sisters-in-law, Dora Grady of Dexter, Helen Grady of Sikeston, Ellen Grady of Fairview Heights, Ill., and Georgia Shearer of Benton; and two nieces, four nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter with Jim Faughn and Stan Dauck officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
