Call 471-6636

This is the answer to "Where was God?" In the first place, you talk like you had been in the battlefield. Who do you think brought you home? I guess I am one of those Bible-thumpers you mentioned. Take it from me and read II Chronicles 7:14 and it will open your eyes to why God allowed this to happen. There's a great big "if" here. Why don't you just read the whole chapter? It would probably do you good.

I'm one of the proud Bible thumpers and a SpeakOut reader said that when you take the Lord as your savior he will be with you 24 hours a day and will never leave your side. They wanted to know where God was when this thing happened to the Twin Towers. In Psalm 23, the Bible says, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I'll fear no evil, for thou art with me." God was right there. Those who are saved have no fear. God's right there.

I'm behind President Bush 100 percent. I just hope he doesn't get all the way to bin Laden's doorstep and turn around and retreat like George Bush Sr. did with Saddam Hussein. That was one of the major mistakes of the 20th century.

I read in the Oct. 15 paper where we've got another fruitcake talking about "Slick Willie" this and Slick Willie that. I can't remember when we ever had a president who did more for our country than Slick Willie, as this person called him. I'll tell you another thing. This Republican-swampeast Missouri town is lucky it hasn't been blown off the face of the Earth. Because when the end of the world comes, take one guess at where it will start.

Does anyone know where I can buy some uniforms or a dress in a plaid color? Please leave the name of a business who handles these?

I would like to SpeakOut about the serious accusation against the House of Prayer Church. I'm another area minister and I have preached a few times for Brother Burnes at the House of Prayer. They're good people. I guess somebody hasn't got anything better to do than to try to tear a work down. With the clothing and stuff they have, sometimes they give them away for two and three weeks at a time. He's a super-good man and it hurts me that someone wants to challenge his integrity.
