Louise Duffey

BLOOMFIELD - Louise Duffey, 78, died Aug. 20, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Nov. 17, 1922, in Bloomfield, daughter of the late John and Mamie Adel Miller Cox, she lived in the Bloomfield area most of her life and was a member of the Bloomfield Church of Christ.

On July 5, 1944, she married Aymond Duffey who preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1998.

Survivors include: one daughter, Jeannie Armes of Bloomfield; two half brothers, Jack Moss and Hershel Moss of Malden; and one granddaughter, Dawn Vann of Bloomfield.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Bill Cox; and one grandson, Todd Armes.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
