DEXTER - Georgia Snider, 80, died July 17, 2007, in the emergency room at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born April 29, 1927, at Dexter, to the late George Arthur and Golden Virginia Bowman Evans, she was a homemaker and member of the Dexter Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter where she was a member of the choir for 50 years and had taught Sunday school for 30 years.
Survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Bob Hill of Cape Girardeau, Cheryl and Mike Ponder of Benton and Terry and Scott Acre of West Linn, Ore.; and three granddaughters.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, George Edwin Evans and Charles Evans; and one sister, Lucille Rainey.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Dr. Curtis Porter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
