D.B. Waggener scored one touchdown pass, which was caught by Wayne Ables. Reece Matthews kicked the extra punt.

SIKESTON - In an effort to help the Board of Municipal Utilities meet rising costs, the Sikeston City Council Monday night unanimously approved an ordinance that increased water and sewer charges effective Nov. 1.

SIKESTON - The students at the Sikeston DAEOC Head Start will start school at a new location Tuesday. The Head Start is moving from the old Lincoln School to the former Missouri State Family Services building at 103 Kathleen.
