BLYTHEVILLE, Ark. -- The Sikeston junior varsity football team lost its first game of the year at the hands of the Blytheville Chickasaws 20-0.
Sikeston falls to 3-1 on the season and will play at Poplar Bluff on Monday at 6 p.m.
"We didn't play with quite the intensity that we've played in previous ballgames," said Sikeston head coach Charlie Vickery. "We came out in the fourth quarter and played much better. Penalties hurt and we didn't have good field position. But we got a chance to play and get some kids some experience."
