NEW MADRID - Helen Morrison, 53, formerly of Salisbury, died Sept. 22, 2001, at her home.
Born Feb. 6, 1948, in Chariton County, daughter of the late Ralph and Genevieve Coy Schnetzler, she was a police officer for the City of New Madrid and a member of the United Methodist Church in Salisbury.
On May 15, 1981, in Miami, Okla., she married Walter Phillip Morrison who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Brent Alan Wilkey of Salisbury; one daughter, Sheila Kaye Guilford of Salisbury; and three grandchildren, Ross Alan Wilkey, Richard Shane Morrison and Caleb Authur Morrison of Salisbury.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. John Holland of United Methodist Church in New Madrid officiating.
Visitation will then be conducted from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Eastlawn Cemetery in Salisbury.
