SIKESTON - George Allen Orr, 47, died at 2:40 p.m. Aug. 6, 2004, at his home.

Born March 13, 1957, in Lepanto, Ark., son of George W. Orr of Sikeston and Ella Williams Bates of Morehouse, he had been a truck driver for Breeden Enterprises for 18 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morehouse.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: four sons, George William Dale Orr, Robert Allen Orr, David Barton Orr and Dallas Michael Orr of Sikeston; one daughter, Susie Kristen Orr of Sikeston; his former wife, Debra Sue Orr of Sikeston; six sisters, Janice Marie McQueen of Copperas Cove, Texas, Brenda Kay Stinnett of Morehouse, Alice Fay Connor of Harrisburg, Ark., Patricia Ann Carmack of Sikeston, Julia Marrie Lutes of Morehouse and Rebbeca Lynn Orr of Vandalia; and three stepbrothers, Terry Gordon, Donald Gordon and Scott Gordon of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by one stepbrother, Dennis Gordon.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Randy Conn, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Morehouse, and the Rev. J.D. McClard, former pastor of the church, officiating.

Burial will follow in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.

Pallbearers will be: George William Dale Orr, Robert Allen Orr, Daniel Craft, Chris Sutton, Danny Carmack Jr. and Dustin Carmack.
