CHARLESTON - Patty Glass Bone, 88, died at 10:15 p.m. Oct. 18, 2004, at her home.
Born Sept. 25, 1916, in Atoka, Tenn., daughter of the late Luther and Maggie Black Glass, she lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She attended the First Baptist Church in Charleston.
On May 13, 1933, she married Everett Bone Sr. who preceded her in death on Sept. 4, 1991.
Survivors include: two sons, James H. "Bud" Bone and Wilbur "Pete" Bone of Charleston; three daughters, Mary Bone of St. Louis, Grace Blaylock of Charleston and Linda Vogt of St. Louis; one brother, Woodrow Glass of Sikeston; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Everett Bone Jr.; five brothers, Leonard Glass, Sam Glass, Landis Glass, Leslie Glass and Leon Glass; and five sisters, Lillian Morgan, Leona Bone, Laverne Bone, Luna Lott and Lora Armstrong.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Keith Huffman, interim pastor of the First Baptist Church of Charleston, will officiate, assisted by George Simmons, who will deliver the eulogy.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons: Gregory Davis, Mark Bone, Carl Bone, Ben Bone, Rett Thompson, Josh Thompson, Matt Thompson and Tyler Collier.
