PORTAGEVILLE - Two teen-agers were taken into custody Thursday in connection with vandalism at a local business.
Portageville Police Chief Ronnie Adams reported officers arrested two 17-year olds for the vandalism early in the evening at the Main Street Laundromat. Several machines were damaged and the wires to the video-surveillance camera were cut. However, Adams noted, the individuals were taped prior to the damage to the camera and identified, leading to their arrests.
The pair is charged with destruction of private property.
